When God has a blessing in store for you, no one can take it away. The more the enemy sets out to dethrone you, the more God works on raising you up. Sit firm in your seat and watch God work things out in your favor. There is no need to complain or put up a fight, because God has already won the battle for you. It is just a matter of time before you see those blessings flowing. Rejoice in advance for the victory knowing Christ has you covered and that He is delivering on your behalf. The future has already been written by God, He knows what will unfold in your life as you go. Sometimes, we may say that we can change the course our lives are on, but I believe that if it is to be changed it is already done. Be patient in everything and watch God work things out for you. All He requires from us is faith---believing in Him.
Your steps are ordered and your days are numbered by God. Never forget He is your Creator and that all good and perfect things come from Him. He has blessed you with life and has carried you this far, and He is not done with you yet. There is no need to fight, but sit tight. He wants to bless you tremendously. So, hold on and be of good courage while He directs your path.

Life often take us through certain journeys that we question; the journey may not make sense now, but eventually it will. Sometimes we come to the same roadblock over and over again and we question it because somehow we feel that we have learned whatever lesson we needed to learn already. But some lessons are not so simple; we know that life throws us many curve balls sometimes, and often times they seem to come out of nowhere, or from a place where we least expected them to come from. When you work hard to achieve, and you believe in yourself that you have given enough to show who you are and what you are made of, you don't expect to continuously do so. You expect the day to come when you are presented with the opportunity you have long waited for. 
Don't allow the delay to break your stride or to encourage you off the track you have been on. Whatever your dreams are, and whatever your purpose is, hold on to it. Don't allow the slight delay (man-made or otherwise), to negate your plans. Stand firm and continue to believe in yourself and in your purpose. Many are still unaware of their purpose here on earth, so if you know what your purpose is, hold on to it and work towards fulfilling it. Don't allow no amount of delays to stop you, instead, work behind the scenes and accomplish your tasks. We all have a purpose driven life, and we don't necessarily have to fulfill it from the front line. We can be successful from behind the scene. So, don't give up, stand firm and keep working.

There are many toxic environments in life. It could be where you spend most of your time. Toxic situations do not lead you down a path of positivity, what it does is steal everything that is good and pleasant with you. We must avoid environments such as these; if we feel that we can accomplish something good and make a difference in these environments, we should go after it. However, if we remain in these situations we will become as such. Whatever we feed ourselves, (mentally, physically or emotionally) we eventually will become that. Encourage those around you and seek out the best in them. Elevate them to a place where they feel worthy, and self-love. For those with no desire for change, pray for them that eventually they will see the good within them, and seek to elevate themselves above where they are.
We are all capable of being better than who we were yesterday. It starts with acknowledging our faults and seeking to eliminate those behaviors that are toxic. Let us love ourselves enough to continuously seek that which is good and cleave to it, then eliminate that which is bad and avoid it. We are all a constant work in progress, and everyday we can become better when we continuously work on ourselves.

• Relinquish the grip of dependency and stand strong. "We are all conquerors through Christ who gave us strength". We were created to withstand the many issues that may plague our lives. We are strong enough to rebuild ourselves from any dire situations, the moment we fail to re-build is the moment when we should realize we are missing something. That something, is our faith. We know that faith moves mountains, and having faith means that you believe in a God who delivers at all times, and that He will deliver you from whatever situation you may face. Turbulent times may come and force you to your knees, but your face does not have to hit the ground. When you are taken to your knees, use that moment to reach out to God through prayer and supplication. He will hear you and pick you up from where you are and deliver you higher than where you were before.
• Be bold in who you are, which is a child of the King. In Him you will find strength and favor. He will deliver you and set your free from whatever bondage that may have you bound. Raise your hands up to The Creator, and allow Him to wash you with blessings and favors. Be strong and be bold, take your rightful place and don't be deceived by the enemy who try to tell you that you are weak, and unworthy. The strength that comes from God, can take you through any battle and deliver safely to shore. Be strong and be bold.

Be rooted and grounded in love for your brothers and sisters. Genuine love is undeniable, it is free, and whispers a sweetness as the breeze that touches your skin. Be grounded in a love that doesn't go with the tide, but stands the test of time. A love that encourages, empowers, build up and not break down. A love that is free and captivating. Be rooted in the love of God. Your love should be like the trunk of a tree that is flourishing to a point, where branches are developing and growing from it. This is a love that touches others and causes them to act and develop a love such as this. Let us love beyond borders, a love that is free from strife and hate. A love free from segregation and biases. A love that encourages and fosters growth and development regardless of your background or inefficiencies.
We are all capable of giving a rooted and grounded love, but it all starts within us. We must be able to love and accept ourselves before we can love and accept others, in a right and meaningful way. It is all possible, but it starts with daily self-searching and developing a zeal for that which is good and pleasant. It starts with devoting a part of your time and undivided attention to daily devotional. It starts with spending time with God on a daily basis. By getting to know Him, you will get to know yourself and eventually understand your purpose here, which involves serving others, putting others before yourself. Our lives are not about us, but about what we can do for others. Above all, LOVE.

As you start the new week, make it a point to be a little kinder because a little kindness goes a long way. We will never know the magnitude of another's plight, but we can show compassion and kindness by the way we speak to each other and the gratitude we display. We know that when Christ was on the earth, He displayed a great deal of care and compassion as He went on. Regardless of what He was faced with, He set it aside so that He could be of service to those who need Him. It is not for us to have full knowledge of everything that maybe going wrong with someone, but it is for us to lend a caring hand and a loving heart. 
It does not take much to be kind, all it takes is a simple smile and a generous heart. Reaching out by asking how are you, and waiting for the response means a lot to many. We have become so accustomed to asking how are you, with no real sincerity to truly know how that person is doing. When we ask, we should care enough to listen and act based on the response. Yes, we are all dealing with our own issues, but sometimes we help ourselves when we help others. Always remember that a little good deed goes a long way. We can heal the world with one kindness at a time. Have a blessed Monday.

As time slips by us, we are left wondering where it has gone. We are living in a fast paced world; the days slip by in what seems like seconds. We often say that there are not enough hours in the day to accomplish our tasks. As the days rush on, it is easy to forget the important tasks we have because we are busy trying to force fit so many things in the short days. It is true, the days are short and when we try to fit additional tasks in our days, the more we become overwhelmed. We have become like robots, each day we arise to the same practices. This is unfortunate, because how can a robot truly enjoy life. We need to step back and review our daily tasks. We need to re-evaluate and remove the excess tasks from our lives, that add no value or does not improve our lives in a positive manner. 
What matters in life is making a difference, providing for your family, spending quality time with your loved ones, and most importantly, devoting the necessary time with God. In our hectic lives, we need balance and that balance comes from God. It is great to go out and socialize after a long week at work, but it is important to take the time out from everything and everyone once in a while to reconnect with our Creator. We need the time to be one with ourselves. So, as you rush through each day, remember to do yourself a favor and take some time out to reconnect.
