Yes, each of us can make the choice to love our neighbor and to see them as we see ourselves, as human beings. Regardless of our differences, we cry the same tears, we bleed the same red blood, we become emotionally distraught when we are hurt by others, or when those we love and care for becomes hurt. What is the most important difference between each of us? It is hard to fathom, because regardless of where we are in our lives and our achievements, we have once been in a place of despair or other unsettling positions. So today, instead of looking at someone and decide their fate based on their skin color, religion, sex, country of origin, make the right choice to see them as a human being, created in the image of God, as you were. None of us has ever seen God, but we love Him and accept Him. He created this universe with you and I in mind, He thought that we were special enough to deserve such wondrous surroundings. He never separated us based on our differences, He gave each of us the free opportunity to have life and to live together in unity. He believed in us, He believed that we were capable of making the right choices.
Make today the day you decide to make the right choices.
