There is beauty inside all of us waiting to be revealed. We often look at a person's outer appearance and judge them, or we may judge them based on their behavior. Regardless of what we look like or how we behave, we all have goodness within us. We are what we are because of our experiences, and if that person we reveal ourselves to be seems uninviting that does not mean that is all there is to us. Some people have been through some terrible ordeal, and in order to protect themselves they create an outer shield that is visible to the public. But deep inside, is a warm and loving person. It is unfortunate that we are often judged by how we look, or even the fact that first impressions are everlasting. Everyone deserves a chance to redeem themselves, everyone deserves a second chance.
We must refrain from passing judgement on each other. We must seek to understand, get to know a person before deciding their fate. I know we are all patient with ourselves and we want others to be patient with us. We must also do the same for others. We all have beauty within us, regardless of our past and regardless of our appearances. Get to know the beautiful person that resides inside a person. Don't dismiss because you don't like what you see. Change a life, and you will change yours.
