What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.

Through the tears, sadness, heartbreak, disappointments, always remember there is a tomorrow. The sun does shine again. It is okay to cry it all out, we gain strength through our hardships; once you are able to achieve joy it will be yours forever.
Happiness is temporary but joy lasts forever. These are words to live by. Joy is something that is embedded deep within your soul. No one can steal it, so find it. Face each day with love in your heart and a smile on your face. It makes a difference!
The ideals which have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been kindness, beauty, and truth. Each day comes with it own share of trials and testing; but through grace and poise we are able to overcome with our heads held high and our eyes on the prize. While giving respect where it is due, never allow someone else to determine your self-worth. Know who you are and own it! When the challenges come you will need to pull on your own strength. Rise above the struggles, corruption and in your face disrespect. Take aim and fight the good fight. Be persistent, never giving up or giving in....keep hope and faith alive.
In the stormy current of life characters are weights or floats which at one time make us glide along the bottom, and at another maintain us on the surface. Each day we are presented with a lesson. Are you taking notes? On those days when you are feeling like everything is too much, ask yourself "what is too much?" Search yourself and think about all the pluses in your life. I guarantee you will find something to be grateful for. You will also come to the realization that your pluses outweigh your minuses. We decide what our day will be like base on our reaction and approach.
Approach the day with a positive mindset and no matter what each day entails, and /or what might unfold, be ready to take a jab at it with all that you have. Do not allow the statement "we are a product of our environment" to determine or dictate how far you can go. Decide where you intend to go and take that first step towards that destination. |
